Dams Safety and Hydraulic Structure
After intense rains in two structures, an overtopping occurred due to sudden elevation in the reservoir level, putting the stability of the structures at risk, which could lead to rupture. In order to improve the levels of security and monitoring of these structures, there was a need to implement a system to provide information for operational areas and made available to Corporate Engineering with headquarters in São Paulo.
After defining the operational rules, the information related to the level of the reservoirs, criticality degree of each structure, the information was passed through the excel worksheet. After study it was defined that the PI System would be the system that would serve with the best cost x benefit because the company already owns the license of the Software.

Wagner Vicente Felix Ferreira
Currently Wagner is Area Manager of Dams Safety and Hydraulic Structure at BRK Environmental.
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP and holds a Masters Degree in Geotechnics from the University of São Paulo-USP. He has specialized in the areas of Environment, Work Safety, Business Management and Sanitation. Current in the sectors of Civil Construction, Energy and Sanitation.
